1st International Congress on Civil Engineering

We aim to consolidate the International Congress of Civil Engineering as a technical-scientific reference in the region, bringing together leading researchers, professionals, students and companies from the civil engineering sector. In this first edition, the event is organized by the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Cuenca in collaboration with the Cámara de la construcción de Cuenca, which are committed to the promotion and excellence of education, research and sustainable development in the field of construction and infrastructure.

 

The congress has the following objectives

 

​Dissemination of knowledge: facilitate the dissemination of research and experiences that promote the development of solutions to the current challenges of civil engineering.

 

Strengthening collaboration: create and strengthen cooperation networks between professionals, academics, companies and public institutions, to advance towards innovation and sustainability in the sector.

Innovation and sustainability: promote emerging technologies and innovative approaches that contribute to the construction of safer, more resilient and sustainable infrastructures.
